Lot 124:
The engraving of the Binding of Isaac shows a ram stuck in the brush with the angel. At the bottom is engraved an explanation in German of the event: “Bildnes weise wie abraham seinen einisen sohn opfern will”. On both sides are stylish welded handles. Later an engraving was made at the top of the plate: “L’Mitzvot 1745” (the year of the original work). Inscription of the maker on the back. Diameter: 20.5cm. Length including handles: 33cm. Overall good condition.
