Village manuscript in spoken Judeo-Arabic, “Pri Tzaddik” with a summary of laws of ritual slaughter, checking the knife, and halachot on treifut. At the beginning is an introduction not found in most manuscripts (printed later under the title “Sefer HaBedikot b’Sfarim Chamisha”—Jerusalem 1981, pp. 220-229). Probably southern Yemen. Size: 16.5×11.5cm. 30 pages. The four last pages on the laws of treifut have been filled in later by someone else. Moisture stains, new red binding, overall very good condition.
