Typewritten letter on official letterhead, from the 17th of Tevet 1943, in Yiddish. The Rebbe writes that he is happy to hear that the addressee left the hospital and is improving, and he tells him that he must listen to the doctors’ orders and to trust in Hashem with strong belief. He says “Know that G-d blesses all who do and want to do good deeds, may you be blessed with good health and abundant blessing. On behalf of the Rebbe Shlita”—the letter is signed by the Rebbe’s secretary, Haim Lieberman.
