On Masechet Gittin, first edition of this masechet “valuable, brought to light after being in geniza, left until now in a manuscript in the Library of Maran Admor shlita of Gur [the Imrei Emet], accompanied by the Chiddushim of the Rambam on Gittin, what had never been printed of his chiddushim before…”. Title page has a number of stamps of Rabbi Meir Shapira when he was Rabbi of Pietrekov, and stamps of the Yeshivat Chochmei Lublin.

Leaf 5, page 2 has a small note, probably handwritten by Maharam Shapira!

Rabbi Yehuda Meir Shapira (Maharam Shapira, 1887-1934) was a leader of Polish Jewry and Agudas Yisrael before the Shoah, founder and leader of Chochmei Lublin yeshiva, and founder of the Daf Yomi movement.
