Lot 149:
“World Congress of Orthodox Organizations in Zurich”, and, on the back of the title page, “Das Programme fun der ‘Agudas Yisrael’”. It was established in 1912 just before World War I. Its activity was paused once war broke out, but immediately after the war the leaders of the organization met in Zurich, including Rabbi Avraham Dov Shapira of Kovna (the Dvar Avraham), and Rabbi Yaakov Rosenheim and others. It later became known as the Aseifas Zurich, though logs of the meeting have been largely lost. This booklet is from the programme of the meeting. 28 pages, 22cm, very good condition (no jacket).
