An incredible treasure: a large volume filled with the handwriting of the author Rabbi Issachar Dov Beer ben Sinai Simandel, with three of his important works:
Minchat Ani: “on 130 kushiyot that arise from Sefer Ani”
Shemen Katit L’Mincha: “on additional kushiyot”
Pati Mincha: “What he could not explain himself and left as kushiyot.”
These works were printed all together only once, in Vienna 1857.
Front binding is detached, leather binding is mostly missing, the last pages are detached, light stains overall good condition.
Rabbi Issachar Dov Beer Simandel-Lamdan (1794-1862) was the son of Rabbi Sinai, he was a student of Rabbi Leiv Kiretz, from the Yeshiva of the Chatam Sofer and one of his first students in Pressburg. He was son-in-law of Rabbi Shmuel Wienstock (Weis) of Chenger and followed him there.e In 1828 he was appointed dayan in Lifta-Sent-Miklosh in Hungary, and he later became the town rabbi. He fought the Reform movement greatly. He was a leader of the Kinus Paksh and others. Also wrote Shirei Mincha.
