Chabad Chassidic work written by the Middle Admor (the Mittler Rebbe), Rabbi Dov Beer ben Admor HaTanya, the son and successor of Rabbi Schneor Zalman of Liady. Printed by the grandsons of the Slavita Rav, Chanina Lifa and Yehoshua Heschel Shapira in Zhitomir in 1864. The title page of the first section is missing. 148, 138 pages. Stains and moisture marks. Old binding is worn and detached, no spine. Overall good condition.

Signature of ownership of Leib Tzeitlin of Homil, probably the father of Rabbi Aharon Lazer Tzeitlin, the father-in-law of Rabbi Yehezkel (Khacheh) Feigin and cousin of the well-known author Hillel Tzeitlin. From the well-known Chabad family.
