First edition of the commentary Kli Yakar on the First Prophets: Joshua, Judges, Samuel, and Kings. By Rabbi Shmuel Laniado, author of the Kli Yakar on the Torah. 564 leaves in the original, this copy is missing the title page and leaves 12-550 are extant. Stefanski Yesod 26. The book was printed during the author’s lifetime. Rav Laniado cites those who preceded him, with major additions: “one who has this book in his possession, it is as if he has a house full of books” (written on the title page). Catalogued in the Rare Books section of Israel’s libraries. Thick volume, separated spine, stains, worming holes and damage, partially missing (as stated above). Most of the text is in good condition. Ex Libris and stamps of Rabbi Dr. Yosef Ona of Frankfurt-am-Mein.” Signature: “the holy Simcha Ona”.
