Sefer Taharat Hanefesh – elucidating forbidden things due to danger … and elucidating human customs … compiled from sacred books Rishonim and Acharonim, alphabetically ordered and in simple language… by me Yisrael Aharon ben Rabbi Nachman Ze’ev of Monistrishtz, the son of … Rabbi David Zvi Auerbach who was Av Beit Din of Mahlov and the vicinity.   according to the Sages  First Edition Chernovich, 1873. 

The book was written as a sequel to Sefer Shemirat Hanefesh dealing with these matters written by the author’s brother the Gaon Rabbi Yisrael Matityahu Auerbach Av Beit Din of Bosk and Gavditz. In his introduction, the author indicates that his brother’s books ‘ספו וגם כלו אבל ראיתי עוד הרבה דברים טובים אשר צריך האדם לשמור את עצמו מהם וכבוד אחי שליט"א שכח אותם להביאם בספרו’. On the last leaf, he also states that his brother had introduced 365 Dinim in his books; and the author has introduced 248. Together, they are 613 (Taryag) as the number of Taryag Mitzvot of the Torah.

The Kabbalist Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Aharon Auerbach (1825-1893) Rav and Maggid Meisharim of Boyan. Author of Sefer Tiferet Shlomo on the Torah and Moadim. The son of Rabbi Nachman Ze’ev of Monistrishtz, the son of Rabbi David Zvi Auerbach Av Beit Din of Kremnitz and Mahlov who was the in-law of Rabbi Nathan of Breslov. 

Rabbi Yehuda leib maimon, in his book Lema’an Zion Loh Echesheh writes of Rabbi Shlomo Aharon that "היה מתנהג בחסידות ושימש בתור ‘רבי’ לחסידים והיה ‘עורך שולחן’ ו’מחלק שירים’ ומרבה לספר בסעודה על החסידות הבעשטנית ואדמוריה".
