Lot 203:
"אשמח כי אוכל למלא חסרונך" Letter handwritten and signed by Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Glick, the author of Yad Yitzchak and Av Beit Din of Toltshva, one of the leading Meshivim of Hungary, addressed to his disciple Rabbi Chaim Brody Av Beit Din of Prague, with reference to his book Yad Yitzchak – Toltshva, 1905.
Rabbeinu sent his letter to his disciple Rabbi Chaim Brody, who was then the Rav of Nachod. In his superlatives, Rabbeinu refers to him as "my disicple" and שוכ"ט למה"ו תלמידי י"נ וחביבי הרב המאוה"ג החכם הכולל… המדעים, יקר ונעים כק"ש מו"ה חיים ברודי".
In the letter, the Av Beit Din of Toltshva thanks him for sending him twenty Crowns and blesses him with warm blessings. It is interesting to note that in the biographies of the Two Geonim we did not find reference to the fact that Rabbi Chaim Brody was a disicple of the Av Beit Din of Toltshova. "ואשלם רב תודות לך והשי"ת ימלא כל משאלותיך ותזכה לעסוק התורה מתוך הרחבה ורוב טובה כעתירת רבך וידידיך וד"ש באהבה".
Although Rabbi Chaim Brody was happy to support his holy Rav, it seems that Rabbeinu still had concerns, noting that "אשמח כי אוכל למלא חסרונך בחיבורי יד… וביום מחר אי"ה אשלח לך….".

Served as Av Beit Din of Toltshva for over fifty years. His books contain over 900 responses on varied matters. Many came to ask him for Semicha letters, so much so that there were communities that conditioned the position of Rav on receiving a Semicha letter from Rabbeinu. Rabbeinu also authored a series of book on the Shas titled Be’er Yitzchak.
