This book, whose content is based on manuscripts that were owned by the Tevu’ot Shor, was
published by his grandsons, the Geonim Rabbi Ephraim Zalman Margaliot of Brod and his brother Rabbi Alexander Sender Margaliot, who note on the title page: ואנחנו קמנו ונתעודד והזלנו זהב מכיסנו להלוות סך מסוים להמדפיסים בכדי להעלותם על מזבח הדפוס לזכות את הרבים…".

This copy was owned by the publisher Rabbi Ephraim Zalman Margaliot of Brod, as indicated by a notation on the first flyleaf: "זה הספר שייך להרב הגאון מוה’ אפרים זלמן מרגליות מבראד" and another notation with similar content. On leaf 10 of Kuntes Acharon, a significant handwritten gloss in script similar to that of Rabbeinu, the owner of the book. The Gaon Rabbi Ephraim Zalman Margaliot (1761-1828) one of the greatest Poskim of recent generations, was a descendant of Rabbi Alexander Sender Schor, author of the Tevu’ot Shor. Author of Mateh Ephraim, Tiv Gittin, Beit Ephraim, Sha’arei Ephraim and more. Received his Hora’ah Semicha from the Divrei Chaim of Sanz. Rabbeinu The Chatam Sofer used many superlatives to describe him and in his eulogy for him described him as: "גדול עולם, אבי אבי רכב ישראל ופרשיו ושמעתתיה מבדרן ובכל יום שמועותיו בבתי מדרשנו מחיבוריו שחיבר".
The Gaon Rabbi Amram Rosenberg, the son of the Gaon Rabbi Shaul Av Beit Din of Ratzfert author of the Chemdat Shaul. Rabbeinu succeeded his great father as Rav of Ratzfert since his passing in 1940. Was the son-in-law of Rabbi Shlomo Dov Heller Rosh Av Beit Din of Siget. Perished in Sivan, 1944.
