Volume of mimeographed typewritten leaves containing the work Mei Hachag on Sfeika Derabbanan, elucidating Sugyot HaShas and the words of the Rishonim and Acharonim, trial proofs of the Gaon author Rabbi Gershon Chanoch Henich Fischman (see below). On the flyleaf, his handwritten signature: "גרשון חנוך פישמן המחבר" and on the leaves, comments, many additions and corrections handwritten by him. In addition, many leaves handwritten by him, some on verso of the printed leaves with approbations by his father-in-law, the famed Mashgiach Rabbi Eliyahu Hacohen Dushnitzer.
181 leaves written on one side – has not been studied on a leaf-by-leaf basis. Moth perforations. Fair overall condition.
The Gaon Rabbi Gershon Chanoch Henich Fischman (1880-1965) served as the Rav of Rotky-Kossacky, Lomzha district and later immigrated to Eretz Yisrael where he served as the Rav of Hertzlia for almost thirty years. Was the son-in-law of the famed Mashgiach of the Lomzha Petach Tikvah Yeshiva Rabbi Eliyahu Hacohen Dushnitzer. Author of Simchat Hachag – Bilgoray, 1937 and Mei Hachag – Jerusalem, 1952.
