Sefer Pri Toar, on the Shulchan Aruch Yoreh De’ah until Siman 122, with the text, commentary by Rabbeinu Chaim ben Atar, the Or HaChaim HaKadosh, second edition (the first that contained only the book without the Pri Chadash. In the first edition, it was titled Perot Genosar). Zholkva, 1810. [1], 116 leaves. With approbations by the Admor Rabbi Avraham Chaim of Zlotchov, a disciple of the Maggid of Mezeritch, and Rabbi Yaakov Orenstein Av Beit Din of Lvov.
Taping for reinforcement to the title page. Moth perforations to some leaves. Blemished back board. Stains. Good overall condition.
On the title page of the book, slightly faded ownership stamps: "הק’ אהרן משה מגזע צבי מבראד" – the holy Rav, Rabbi Aharon Moshe MiGeza Zvi (1775-1845) was a disciple of the Chozeh of Lublin and the Saraf of Starlisk, son-in-law of Rabbi Mordechai Horowitz, who published the book Chibat Yerushalayim. He studied Torah and Kabbalah in Brod and in 1839 he immigrated to Jerusalem, where he was considered the founder of its Chassidic community. He also headed the Kollel HaChassidim. His entire life he mourned the destruction of Jerusalem. His well-known will was printed in Chernowitz in 1858. He wroteDinei Tevilah for women in Yiddish.
