About the year of printing of this book: Some scholars believe it was printed in ca. 1840, in Russia or Poland, Lemberg or Zholkva. However, others assume it was printed in Lvov in early 1810. This is based on the fact that the holy Rav of Kalisk, (who passed away in Shevat of that same year) is referred to with the title "נרו", whereas Rabbi Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev (who passed away in Tishrei of that year) is referred to with the title "זצלה"ה". (See: Kiryat Sefer, 36, pp. 127-128, the article by Rabbi Chaim Liberman).
