Pachad Yitzchak, Halachic encyclopedia by Rabbi Yitzchak Lampronti, Rav and physician in Padua and Ferrera. This is the first halachic Talmudic encyclopedia that was alphabetically ordered and one of the first encyclopedias in the world in general.

First edition with five sections that were published in the author’s lifetime.

Section I:  The letters א-ב – Venice, 1750. [8], 124, 76 leaves. 

Section II: 1. The letters ג-ד. Venice, 1753. [1], 105 leaves. With the folding plate of the version of the Gett. 2. The letters ה-ז. Venice, 1756. [1], 110 leaves. 

Section III: 1. The letters ח-ט. Venice, 1808. [1], 92 leaves.

Section IV: Letters י-ל. Venice-Reggio, 1813. [1], 108, 28 leaves. With the folding plate of Tumot DeOrayta. 

Section V: the letter of מ – Livorno, 1839. [1], 241 leaves. 

In the National Library, some of the sections appear in the Rare Book Collection. Stefansky Sifrei Yesod no. 531. 

Four volumes. Fine margins. One loose binding. Stains. Some moth perforations. Good overall condition.
