Signature and glosses by the Chassid Gaon Rabbi David Hacohen Zeltzer, a disciple of Maran the Divrei Chaim, on Tur Orach Chaim, the Wien 1810 Edition.

Appearing on the title page of the book is a lengthy notation handwritten by Rabbeinu "G-d has granted me these Turim books … to purchase more books to study and teach observe and do … all that is written in them … David ben Rabbi M. Zeltzer of Serdehali".

Appearing on the leaves of the book are several glosses handwritten by Rabbeinu inclding some lengthy and significant ones which apparently have not been published.

Many moth holes. Dampness and mold stains, mainly to the back. Fair condition. 

The Chassid Gaon Rabbi David Hacohen Zeltzer (1842-1908) the grandson of the holy Gaon Rabbi David Deutsch Av Beit Din of Ir Chadash, author of Ohel David. Studied at the yeshivas of Rabbi Zekil Polack, Rabbi Shimon Friedman and the famed Gaon Rabbi Menachem Ash. Served as Domatz in Munkatch and headed the yeshiva there. Was famed for his sermons, some of which were printed by his son in the book Divrei David on the Torah. The Admor, author of the Darkei Tshuvah wrote of him in his approbation of the Divrei David "I since I have known him as most knowledgeable in Niglleh and Nistar, Torah and Chassidut … loves his fellow men and beings them closer to the Torah …"
