Pesach Haggadah, a colorful, artistic publication—a facsimile copy true to the original, the famous Bird’s Head haggadah of the 13th century. Incorporates illustrations of figures which, for an unknown reason, have birds’ heads. Famous also because it’s the oldest complete Haggadah. Illustrations showing the mitzvot of the holiday, and various events from Tanach. The original Haggadah is housed at the Israel Museum.

This printing includes an additional volume with an introduction and articles in Englsh. Made by the Betzalel Institute, Vienna 1965. Copy numbered 438 out of 600. Catalogued at the NLI’s rare books section. The volumes are in matching cardboard boxes. Excellent, like new condition.
