Typewritten letter on official letterhead of the Rayatz. From the first day of Kislev 1932. Addressed to “our friends anshei shem everywhere”.
“In the episode of chag hageulah—19th of Kislev, when the sun arose to the success of the Anshei Shem in their courage to awaken the world…”. He discusses the segulah and holiness of the day and praises the hisva’adut of the chassidim and notes that it is one of the principles of chassidus. He writes about the yeshivot, which were very successful spiritually but which were struggling in practical matters and needed support, and blesses all those taking part in supporting them. The letter is original but the signature is a facsimile.
