Derech Emunah, also known as Sefer HaChakira, “ten masterpieces on the renewal of the world … by our great Rabbi the Admor HaZaken…”. A philosophic work (rare among Chassidim), copied from a manuscript of the Admor Menachem Mendel, the Tzemach Tzedek of Lubavitch.
First edition – printed by Rabbi Eliyahu Akiva Rabinovich – Poltava 1912. [1], 100 leaves. In the Rare Book Collection of the National Library. At the end are “additions to the book Derech Emunah” by the same author with a separate title page and "some Drushim for Hanukkah", first edition – Berditchev, 1913. Originally, [1], 17 leaves. In this copy, the last leaf is missing. This section too is in the Rare Book Collection of the National Library.
Stable binding with a minor blemish to spine. Minor stains. Loose in some places. Consecutive cut to the edge of the title page and several of the following laves, not affecting the text. Good overall condition.
