Lot 9:
A small, sweet booklet: Kiddush and Prayers Rosh Hashana-Simchat Torah. Containing the version of the Kiddush, Tashlich, Kaparot, Birkat Lulav and Hakafot. Hebrew and English on facing pages.
Despite this copy being a copy of the second edition as indicated by the title page, it is rare and uncommon. It should be noted that leading bibliographers and collectors have missed the first edition and it is not documented. In addition, only in the Rebbe’s library, there is another booklet, which does not note the number of its edition. The Rebbe’s booklet, apparently, is a copy of the first edition, which was published in the same year this booklet as well as the third edition was published.
Published by the Center for Educational Matters, Kehat Brooklyn, 1944. 20 pp including the cover. As stated, this sacred item is extremely rare: not in the National Library and the Bibliography of the Hebrew Book.
Yellow title-cover with blue and red lettering. The text inside is also in blue with red headings. 14X8 cm. Very good overall condition.
