Letter from the Rabbi of Sadigore from the 10th of Yiar 5711 – 1951 to Rabbi Mordechai Schraibman on the subject of assistance to a descendant of the Chatam Sofer. The letter was probably written by one of the Gabaim and was signed by the Rabbi. Rabbi Mordechai Shalom Yosef Fridman of Sadigore was born in 1896 and was the 4th Admor of the Sadigore Hassidut. Known as Hachnasat Mordechai, was involved in saving Jews. He immigrated to Israel in 1939 and settled in Tel Aviv. Passed away in 1979. The letter is handwritten on official letterhead. 28 x 18cm, in good condition.
