A letter from Rabbi Meir Karelitz Z”L (brother of the Hazon Yish), 20 Av 5708, 25.8.1948 to Rabbi Shmuel Tchernowitzky, Tel Aviv. A recommendation for Rabbi Yitzhak Artin. Rabbi Meir Karelitz (1875-1955) was he rabbi of Lechowicz and was a member of the Vaad Yeshivot Polin and Eretz Israel, among the founders of the Independent Education and member of the Moetzet Gdolei Hatorah. The eldest brother of the Hazon Yish. The letter is typed on the official paper of Agudat Israel and signed by Rabbi Karelitz. 22 x 14cm. In very good condition, with filing holes.
