Lot 375:
Written on blank letterhead and signed by the Admor Yisrael ben Mordechai Friedman of Husiatyn, to the residents of the city of Chicago, headed by Rav Yehoshua Kropnik, with thanks and long blessing for their support. Signs of folding and stains, generally very good condition. The Admor Rabbi Yisrael Friedman was known for the story that during the Shoah, when the enemy was on the border of Egypt and tried to get into Israel, he and the rest of the Jerusalem kabbalists went and stood at the grave of the Or HaHayyim, and after their prayer he said that the “oppressive enemy would not rule over the Land of Israel.”
