Given to David Edry, with signatures of the rabbis: 1. Mordechai (?), 2. Moshe Shoraki, 3. Eliyahu Levi, 4. Yosef HaLevi, 5. Yehuda Shabtai, 6. Eliya Entebbi, 7. Shalom Sasportch, 8. Shmuel Avo. After the signatures, David Edry, the Shadar, wrote, “By reason of a bad event that happened to me, the rumor that my wife was dead, my heart melted within me and apprehension sapped my strength, and I was not able to go myself to them, so I was forced to send a shaliach, Reuven Gabbay.” He signed his name at the bottom.
