The bills have notes stating when they were received from the Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson. Given to Rabbi Eliyahu Yosef Gelbstein, who was a descendent of the Tanya. See Sefer HaTze’etza’im 1270, he was the son of Rabbi Avraham Hallel Gelbstein (ibid. 720), and his mother was Marat Rachel Zissel (ibid. 665), daughter of Rabbi Yehuda Leib Slonim. 6th generation from the founding of Chabad, the Tanya.
