HaChaim. "Booklet of the students of the Etz Chaim Yeshiva in London dedicated to halachah and aggadah and all subjects of the Torah." Nissan, 1940. Half of the booklet is in English, signature on the title page: ארי' ליב גראסנאס. 42, 12 pages. Soft cover, small marginal tear in the title page, light stains, overall fine condition. Rabbi Yehuda (Aryeh) Leib Grosnass (1912-1996) was the Rosh Beit Din of the Knesset Yisroel community in London. He was a disciple of the Radin and Kaminetz yeshivot where he studied by Rabbi Baruch Ber and then in Baranowitz by Rabbi Elchonon Wasserman. He was a founder of the Gateshead Kollel. In 1948, he was appointed by Rabbi Yechezkel Abramsky as judge in the beit din in London and later took over his position at the helm of the institution. In 1948, he authored his Lev Aryeh that merited the approbations of Rabbi Herzog and Rabbi Zvi Pesach Frank.
