Volume with two works: Meishiv Shalom responsa, first edition with responsa from Rabbi Shalom Yosef Halevi of Lokachi with prestigious approbations from Rabbi Meir Shapiro of Lublin, Admor Yisroel of Chortkov and others. First edition printed during the author's life – Bilgoray, 1931. 178 leaves, 356 pages. The title pages and first two leaves are detached, light tears in the first leaves, light stains, overall fine condition. 2. Shu"t Avnei Chefetz with "responsa on the four sections of the Shulchan Aruch from Ahron Levin, av"d Rzeszów and the environs." First edition printed during the author's life – Bilgoray, 1934. 102, 204 pages. A number of lengthy, significant handwritten marginal glosses, light stains, old binding with worn edges, overall fine condition. The title page bears a prestigious stamp: משה אליעזר הורוויטץ אבד"ק רמאנוב והגליל". Admor Moshe Elazar [Eliezer] Horowitz of Rimanov (1900-1944) was the son of Admor Zvi Chaim. He was the son-in-law of Rabbi Elazar ben Naftali of Melitz (according to Alfasi, son-in-law of Rabbi Naftali of Melitz). He was the last Rabbi and Admor of Rimanov. He passed away in the Holocaust.
