Typewritten letter on official letterhead of Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the 7th Chabad Rebbe, to the president of the World Mizrahi Organization, with much praise and blessings for a happy new year. At the end is the Rebbe’s signature. Filing holes.
The Rebbe lived from 1902 to 1994.
The receiver, Aryeh Leib Gelman (1887-1971) was a businessman, journalist, sofer and publicist, leader of the World Mizrahi Organization. Member of the Jewish Agency, the United Jewish Appeal, and Keren HaYesod as well.
