Manuscript—Sefardi Hebrew booklet, some in Arabic, by Rabbi Yitzhak Gago Tzror, a rabbi of Gabes at the beginning of the 20th century. This determination is based on the flowery signatures of his which appear in a number of places. The content changes and includes: phrases, piyyutim, divrei torah, lists, drafts of letters and more. Among the things that appear is the inscription: “Words of fate on a boat, the Gaon said to his covenantal brothers, the goyim who are among us I will throw into the sea”—drawn from the known story of Rabbi Avraham ibn Ezra, who saved Jewish boat passengers from being thrown into the sea. 78 pages, 17cm. Condition differs among the pages, ok to good. Stains, tears and wear. Original binding, wear. Generally ok condition.

Rabbi Yitzhak Gago Tzror was a rabbi and poet, author of Tzror HaMor, songs and piyyutim.
