Siddur with chemdat Yisraeal, kavanot of the Arizal, with an introduction by the publisher Shmuel Zenovil Kahane, noting that he received the manuscript from “Haim Elazar Shapira, ben HaRav Av Beit Din here in Munkatch, shlit”a, with permanent rights to print it.” The rabbi in question is the Minchat Elazar, but during his father’s lifetime and before he succeeded his father (Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Munkatch) as Admor. In the introduction the Admor Imrei Yosef of Spinka writes: “even someone who doesn’t take part in the mysticism of Torah and belief should buy this siddur as a safeguard in one’s home from harm and illness and much blessing and success…”. There are additional endorsements by Chassidic sages, including the Admor Ahavat Yisrael of Vizhnitz, Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Shapira of Munkatch who also wrote a long introduction, Rabbi Yehuda Zvi of Dalina, and more. New binding (gold-inscribed), a little moth damage, a few bits of tape at the edges of pages, the title page and endorsements on the reverse side have been added by photocopy.
