First edition of the Sefer Pamphlet Etz Chaim and the maamar Yom Tov of Rosh Hashanah 1906, by the Admor Rashab of Lubavitch. Published by Yeshivat Torat Emet, Jerusalem 1938-40.
The pamphlet was written by the Admor Rashab as a guide for yeshiva students in the network Tomchei Temimim, and was spread over many years through handwritten copies of manuscripts, until it was first printed in a stencilc edition by the Torat Emet yeshiva in Jerusalem and then by the Rebbe and the Otzer HaChassidim in 1947.
Torat Emet also published for the first time the maamar Yom Tov of Rosh Hashanah 1906 by the Rashab, a stencil edition which preceded the New York edition.
The second leaf has a signature of Rabbi “Pinchas Leibush Herzl”, a mashpiah of Chabad in Jerusalem.
