Letter from the Rebbe typewritten on official letterhead. The Rebbe writes with pain and mercy and worry for a chassid who lost his wife, and with great care suggests that he remarry for halachic and emotional considerations, and how to calm him from his fears of distancing from his children. He later blesses him to have a happy life and also discusses with him division of assets, and blesses him further. He also mentions an innovative medical treatment for his grandson and recommends he speak to two expert doctors and do what they tell him. Handwritten signature, the body of the work also has handwritten additions and corrections.
1 page with envelope, folding creases, tiny hole, light stains, overall good condition.
