Lot 065:
Likkutei Amarim, pocket edition (Edition 53), New York, 1958. Rare, special copy! Given by the Rebbe himself during his early years leading the community, to Rabbi Yisrael Sadan, who signed his name on the book and notes by hand: “a gift from the Admor during my visit to him in New York, 1958.” Read about his visit to the Rebbe in Mikdash Melech, Vol. 2, p. 428. See also in Igros Kodesh Volume 18, letter 6757, a letter from the Rebbe to him in which he mentions his visit to the Rebbe. Overall very good condition.
Rabbi Yisrael Sadan (1923-1996) was a founder of the Noar Mizrahi movement, Midreshet Noam in Pardes Chana, and its principal for around 50 years. He edited and published regularly the works Niv HaMidrashia, which featured halachic, philosophical, pedagogical, and literary discussions.
