Was in use in Warsaw, written entirely in one hand. In 1923 the sefer was repaired and was reapproved for use. At the end is written by hand “this sefer is free of any error and is approved for reading amongst the people of Israel; 1923, Rabbi of Warsaw Gadil Rosenberg,” with the stamp “Gadil Rosenberg the Magiya and Rabbi of Warsaw.” Size of the Sefer: 62cm, 52 lines per column, some of the letters are blurred. Generally good condition (not sold as a kosher sefer).

Written in one hand throughout on red/brown leather parchment. A large cattle, as was the custom in Yemen to use every part of the skin, and they wrote on the exterior portion, which caused the unusual coloring. According to the shape of the pey, and some of the crooked letters, the writing before us was done in Yemen 250-300 years ago, because this style was according to the Rambam (for comprehensive research, see the study done by Professor Aharon Gimni in his book “Shifts in the History of the Jews of Yemen,” page 21, and his book “Khavatzelet HaSharon,” pages 29-34. Given in a case not from the period, size of the scroll is 50cm, 54 lines per column.

Written entirely by one hand, nice writing by a professional sofer, a portion has erasures and corrections made over the years; given in a metal case (not from the period) with engraving work of a menorah and verses from Psalms created during later periods. The upper portion has the tablets bearing a dedication from 1963. Size of the case: 90cm. Width: 30cm. Size of the parchment: 60cm. 52 lines per column. Corrections and erasures over the years—not sold as kosher.

Size 14.5x19. Size of the portrait: 10x8.5cm. The picture is framed. Very good condition.

One of the Rav Issachar Dov of Belz, 1854 (he lived 1852-1926). One of the Admor Rav Aharon Rokach (1880-1957). Three pictures of the current Admor, one of which while he was in hushed conversation with his son the Rahatz, Rav Aharon Mordechai Shlita. Good condition, various sizes.

1. Two pictures of the Rav Yosef Shlomo Cohenman, the Rav of Ponivozh (1888-1969), head of the Ponivozh yeshiva in Lithuania before the Shoah. Founded the yeshiva in Israel after the war, and was a member of the Gedolei Torah group. 2. Picture of the Rav Shmuel Rozovsky (1913-1979)—head of the Ponivozh yeshiva. 3. Picture of Rav Eliyahu Lupiyan (1876-1970), was one of the most recognizable figures of the mussar movement in the 20th century. 4. Picture of Rav Aharon Kotler (1892-1962), head of the Kaltzak yeshiva in Poland, founder and head of the Lakewood yeshiva in the US, president of the Council of Torah Sages in the US. Different sizes, good condition.

Two albums with around 70 photos and postcards (original) of rabbis and Admors: Rav Haim Kinievsky, Rav Yosef Shlomo Cohenman, Rav Avraham Yafan, Rav Yehezkel Abramsky, the Ba’al HaSulam, Admors of Vizhnitz, Sadigura, Biela, Kretshnif, and more. Includes 3 framed photos of various rabbis. Good condition.

Among them: Rabbi Amram ben Divan. Rav Ephraim Ancoa. Rabbi Refael Ancoa (the Malach Refael). Baba Dudu. Rabbi Haim Pinto. Rabbi Haim HaKohen and more. Various sizes, conditions. Generally good condition. End of the 19th century, beginning of the 20th.

Perhaps from a journalist in the 1960s and 70s, more than 200 photos from around Israel, from the Western Galilee to Eilat and the Sinai. Graves of tzadikim, synagogues, museums, public buildings, houses, landscapes, workers, various cultures, flora and fauna, and more.

Monograph of the life of Jews in Eastern Europe before WWII. With subjects from a lecture he gave in 1945 in the Beit Midrash LaRabanim, accompanied by 31 photos from before the war. Generally very good condition.

Testimonies of Our Time #2, Paris. Exceptional portrait of an age in the life of Jews around 1933, across the world, mainly Europe. A booklet that tries to show the Jews as they were and their contributions to society. Shows a Jew in Paris (of the Ghetto—La Rue des Rosiers) and photos of the visible French-Jewish community as it was. Responses to the rise of the Nazi Party to power and the pograms in Ukraine. Includes rare photos Rebbe of Bobov. Spinka and more. Among the writers: Albert Einstein, Shalom Esh, Victor Bash, Jean Galotti, Norbert Guterman, Aharon Hermoni, Fair Lazareff, Yisrael Levi, Ludwig Levinstein, Morris Lieber, Lord Malchat, Morris M Mesecca, Morro-Giafferi, Leon Motzkin, Alisa Rhaiss, Jules Romains, Andrei Speyer, Henry Tours, Dr. Haim Wiezmann, and more. Size 21x31cm, 106 pages, text in French. Soft binding, generally very good condition.

From various places in Europe, some of the letters (in Yiddish) describe the war and the events of the period. The picture seems to be sent with one of the letters. Size of the picture: 7x10cm, the letters are various sizes. Good condition.

Louis Bouwmeester (1877-1937) who played Shylock (the Merchant of Venice). Art by Toon Dupuis, Holland. Size: 11x13.2cm, the table piece is 17cm, width 13.5cm, depth 13.5cm. Very good condition. Bouwmeester was one of the great actors of Holland, played in silent movies and many plays. Filled the role of Shylock, one of the most extraordinary roles by Shakespeare. On the one hand, a suffering man, strange and isolated in the community in which he lives, and on the other an anti-Semitic stereotype of a Jew taking interest, mean, and vengeful, as was painted throughout history. Among the well-known and popular plays by Shakespeare, performed repeatedly in theater and film.

The figure of a Jew with a beard, on the stocks, maybe. Height: 20cm, cracks with a piece of the bottom missing. One of the common anti-Semitic figures during that period in Alsace.

Verses of the Ten Commandments in their complete form as said on Mt. Sinai (Parshat Yitro), engraved on two tablets made of Jerusalem stone. In total, 2 pieces given in a matching case. Size of each: 13x22.5cm, the left piece is broken and glued. Seems to be from Israel.

With images of the binding of Isaac. Fabric embroidered with the ram, the angel, Eliezer and Yishma’el with the donkey, and more. Size: 75x50cm.

Shofar decorated with a silver casing and a stand made of olivewood and letters with ancient writing. Stamped 925. Special stand. Size of the shofar: Length—17cm, width: 3.5cm, height: 16cm. The stand: 18.5cm length, width 11cm, height 5.5cm. Very good condition.

To be hung in a synagogue, decorated with cutting work, including the engraving of a dedication “in remembrance of Rav Yeshuah ben Haim who died on Motzei Yom Kippur 1931.” Diameter: 21cm, height with chains: 55cm, missing the oil receptacle made of glass. Very good condition.

Green-colored carpet from the house of the Admor HaLev Simcha. When it underwent renovations the carpet was removed from wall to wall and was thrown outside. Members of the yeshiva took it and divided it amongst themselves as a segula. Size: 40x83cm. Accompanied with a certificate of authenticity.

Decorated with embroidered silver and gold. Length: 25cm, seems to have been in use for a bride or a wealthy family. Used, but good condition.

With engravings in colorful letters of verses on Jerusalem, two holes on the sides to be screwed into the wall, seems to have been hung in houses a symbol of the destruction. Handwork, various sizes, generally very good condition. Width: 1cm. 1. Size 11x7cm. 2. “Jerusalem your city, its walls will be rebuilt,” size 10x7cm. 3. Size 8x9cm, 4. 14x7cm, 5. 10x8cm. 6. Dedicated to the synagogue in memory of the soldier Negi Yosef Eliyahu Kashi David Sasson, who died in the War of Independence. In the center of the stand is a shiviti and dedications to either side. There is a drawer and above it writing. Includes 4 holders for rimonim. Israel 1948. Size: 33x49x70cm.

Hand-done artistry, from the inside working out, reverse work of the Kotel. Colorful illustration by an artist. Size: 7x6x9cm. Light defect in the closing. Generally very good condition.

Handsome jewelry for a woman, made of pieces of silver decorated partially with filigree work. Weight: 132g.
