Lot of 13 engraved illustrations from books. Some have inscriptions of verses describing the engravings. Various conditions, various defects. Some frames. Generally good condition.
1. Old photo album with a copper plate on top with a relief and inscription “Rachel’s Tomb.” Various defects to the album. 20x10.5cm. Generally good condition.
2. Metal plate with decorations of the names of the Twelve Tribes and symbols. In the center is an photocopied illustration of Rachel’s Tomb with an inscription underneath: Tomb di Rachel, Bethlehem, Israel. On the back is welded a sling for hanging on the wall. And a stamp of having paid sales tax. Light defects. Diameter: 20cm.
3. Copper relief, center has Rachel’s Tomb with a tree, inscription of “Kever Rachel” and under a verse. On either side are figures of Yaakov and Rachel, various decorations. Margins have “Betzalel Jerusalem.” 25x16cm.
4. Large copper relief attached to wood, with embossing of Rachel’s Tomb and a verse. Light defects, a little green oxidation. 41x32cm.
The Messiah at the Kotel, with beams of light around him, Jews praying at the Kotel with Moshe Dayan in back. Signed. Unidentified artist. Defects to the frame. Size without frame: 24x30cm. Generally good condition.
Inspired by a famous piece of artwork done by Isidore Kaufman. This signature is unidentified. Given in a large wooden frame. Size in the frame: 86x76cm. Artwork: 50x40cm. Generally good condition.
