“According to the Russian, Lithuanian, and Polish minhag, given in Nusach Sfard.” Printed by Rabbi Yitzhak Moshe Bakashet, who bought the printing presses and houses from the Shapira brothers in Zhitomir, and continued the book printing business using the same publishing methods. An exegesis on Rashi’s commentary. By the dayan Rabbi Meir Binyamin Danon, student of the Gaon Rabbi David Pardo, the Maskil L’David. First edition, YisraelBak printing. Cover and page beforehand have many signatures, half-cursive handwriting, old, long, and important. They are by members of the Uzin family—a family of important Jerusalem Shadarim. Rare book. | Moth holes, tear with missing bit in the upper white margins on the cover page—no damage to text. Half-leather, original binding, worn and partially disconnected. Quality paper. In the center of every column is a colorful illustration from the events of the megillah. 30 lines per column. 24 columns. First is torn and only a small bit remains from it. 4 additional columns are partially torn. Tear with damage to text on page 16. Height: 15cm. Writing: 11.5cm. Extremely rare item.
