Megillah housing made of silver, inlaid with gemstones.

Stamped silver, with welding and engraving work, with gold and silver mixed in. Inlaid with gemstones in a variety of colors and sizes. At the top of the case, which can slide off, is a crown, and a loop for a string for carrying it. Missing bit from the top of the crown. Height: 17cm. Diameter 6cm. Weight: 261g. Generally good condition.

Case for Megillat Esther, stamped silver, handmade. Israel.

Stamped 925, signed “Hadad – Handmade.” Hexagonal shape, each side has a wonderful, delicate engraving of geometric shapes, welding work of floral patterns, and the inscription “Megillat Esther.” Case opens on a hinge. Height: 35cm. Diameter: 7cm. Weight: 865g. Generally very good condition.

Rectangular seder plate created by Christofle, Paris, France. In the center is an engraving of the word “Pesach.” Around it are circles with the symbols to be put on the plate. Stamped: Christofle146. Scratches. 34x23cm. Generally ok to good condition.

Silver-plated platter, Jerusalem, beginning of the 20th century

In the center is an engraving of the Old City of Jerusalem, above it is the inscription “Jerusalem.” Around it are decorations of shapes and flowers. On the edge, at the top and bottom, are engravings of the seven species, and the inscription: “Shivat HaMinim.” Four corners have engravings of four fish. Additional engraving, from later, with names of the holidays and a prayer for the rebuilding of the Beit HaMikdash.” Knocks and peelings on the silver coating in a number of places. Length: 42cm. Width: 33cm. Generally ok to good condition.

1. Large bowl for Pesach, at the top is engraved a crown, at the bottom an engraved inscription “Pesach.” Stamp of the creator on the back. Diameter: 36cm. Scratches and knocks. Complete set, a dozen forks decorated at the top by a figure of Moses bearing the Ten Commandments. Each is stamped with three stamps. Created by Pearce & Sons, England. Given in a handsome wooden box covered in leather on the outside and velvet on the inside. Length: 18cm. Weight: 450g.

Decorated with hammer, cutting, and filigree work. In the center is a relief: “Al Netilat Yadayim.” The figures are delicate and the shape special, combines well with the mitzva of Netilat Yadayim, which symbolizes holiness and purity. Height: 15cm. Diameter: 11cm. Weight: 344g. Generally very good condition.

Shiviti panel for a synagogue, two pieces, cast brass

The central portion is in the shape of a widening square, decorated with two lions holding a medallion with the verse: “Shiviti Hashem L’Negdi Tammid.” Background is fruit and plants. Inscription: “Know Before Whom You Stand, Before the King of Kings.” A smaller, additional portion, in the shape of a rainbow. Decorated with shapes of the Seven Species. Betzalel work. With listing (perhaps from later): Betzalel. Corrosion. Size: 53.5x19cm, 43.5x37cm. Generally good condition.

Curtain for the Holy Ark, decorated with silver string. 1955.

In the center is embroidery with silver string of vines and flowers. At the top is a colorful embroidered crown and the letters K.T. (Keter Torah). At the bottom is an embroidered dedication to “Rav Aharon and his son David Shiper in memory of Marat Sara Rivka bat Rav Yehuda” Colorful decoration of flowers at the end of the dedication. Size: 174x126cm. Stains, light defects, generally good condition.

Curtain from the holy grave of the Tanna Rabbi Meir Ba’al HaNes.

This curtain was placed over the grave of the Tanna, upon which multitudes of Jews have come to bare their hearts and bow upon it to pray over many years. The curtain is made from red velvet, with gilded decorations of stars, two lions, two peacocks, flowers, and a silver frame. In the center is a framed inscription. Size 240x205cm. Good condition, stains, the frame is defective.
