The book “Tanya Rabati” was edited as a halakhic composition that accompanied the siddur of the Italian tradition, an abbreviated version of the book “Shivlei HaLeket” with many additions. Printed with the author’s anonymity, and various editions attributed the book to Rabbi Yehiel bar Asher (the Rosh) or Rabbi Yehiel bar Tzidkiya in Colophon. Karo named his book Kesef Mishneh to be in parallel with Maggid Mishneh, in which he responds to the Ra’avad’s claims and deeply discusses the Rambam.
