Commentary and drash on the Five books of Torah, bound together. Signatures of ownership, new leather binding, cover pages for Genesis (restored), Leviticus, and Numbers. On the introduction are points of emphasis and notes in ink, moth damage, stains from moisture, wear, generally ok to good condition.

Exegesis on the meaning of Rashi on the world “Klomar,” on Mashet Brachot, by Rabbi Yehuda Stathaggen. Amsterdam. First edition. Book of “Yaakov Naftali Hirtz Levi, N.H. Van Biema.” Origin: appeared in a collected sale of Pan-Bima, Amsterdam 1905, from the collected manuscripts of the Dutch collector Yaakov Naftali Hertz Levi, who was a descendent of the Tzipor, the wife of Rabbi Binyamin Bima ben Rabbi Naftali Yitzhak. Original leather binding, 20cm (4) 34 pages. Stains and wear, generally good condition.

Determination of the Jewish calendar with additional celebrations of the State of Poland and Russia and Ashkenaz (Western Europe), tables and charts. Russia-Poland. On a printed cover page:Dyhernfurth, listed with the year 1800, but in the colophon is written 1805. On the cover are stamps printed in Russia. Not the original binding, 24 pages, 20cm. “Mishnah Brurah,” proofreading copy.

Volume 1, includes two parts from the Mishnah Brurah on the Shulchan Aruch, by Maran Chafetz Haim, Reb Yisrael Meir HaKohen. Section 3—Warsaw 1891, on the cover is written “proofread,” seems to be in the handwriting of the Chafetz Haim. Section 4—1898. The books are bound together. Stamps and signatures in the handwriting of Shlomo Mendeleivitch, who was Gabbai of the Chevra Mishnayot of Zaletch. Generally good condition, light moth marks, original binding, loose.
