Recommendation letter for an Avarech, written on official letterhead by hand and signed by Gaon Rabbi Shimshon Aharon Polonsky, known as the Gaon of Teplyk, revered by everyone in his generation for his genius of Torah. Rav Tzvi Pesach Frank would not rule on extreme questions without getting his thoughts, and Rav Avraham Yitzhak HaKohen Kook said of him that he was the “number one learner in Jerusalem.” Known as an expert on Niddah, many of the rabbis of Jerusalem and poskei of the next generation used him to teacher, including David Jungreis, Shlomo Zalman Auerbach, Shmuel HaLevi Wazner, Yisrael Yaakov Fisher, Ovadiah Yosef, Yosef Shalom Elyashiv.
