Picture of the Western Wall Beadle HaRav Rahamim Meyuchas

Who ran the Western Wall, him and his son, until the War of Independence. Standing beside the stones of the Western Wall, his story and holy function is told in Sefer Yerushalayim Bein HaHomot p. 288 onwards. In the picture behind him there is a stone with the writing “Rahamim Ben…” and today this stone is a number of meters above the ground. Excellent condition, given within a big frame measuring 37cm.

Embossing “The Hebrew University commemorated a historic event, of the opening of the university.” Engraved, Bezalel Jerusalem, Palestine 1925. In the background appear the hills of Jerusalem and in the center of the picture the building of the university, Style of Ze’ev Raban, though his name is not stamped into the work like in most of his works.Size 32cm.

Ceramic plate with embossing of a rooster by the artistic couple Avraham and Pnina Gopher, 33x33cm. Signed later. They created in the 1950s a ceramic company by the name of Gopher. The company operated a number of years and provided spectacular products for the Israeli art scene.
