Sofer script on thick paper. In the center is the wording of the book Sha’arei Kedusha—halachot of shechita and trefiut, by Rabbi Yehi Tzalach (the Maharitz), and around it is the commentary Lehem Toda by Rabbi Yehi ben Rabbi Yehuda Bedichi. Pretty, organized Yemenite handwriting. Beginning of chapters and the section numbers are emphasized in red ink. Light leather binding with inscriptions and the remains of strings for tying them. Cover page has a note about the birth of a boy. Dozens of glosses. Stains, original binding. 64 pages. 17x13cm. Generally good condition.
