All of the Chiddushei HaRamban, the copy of the Rebbe Rabbi Yisrael Friedman of Husiatyn
A book with all of the Chiddushei HaRamban that compiles all of the Ramban’s novaelle on the Talmud – Jerusalem, 1928. On the title page is an ownership stamp: “The library of Yisrael Friedman of Husiatyn.” Some leaves are torn with no damage to the text. The title page and another leaf are restored, good general condition. Rabbi Yisrael Friedman of Husiatyn (1858-1949), the elder of the rebbes of the Ruzhin family, named after his grandfather the founder of the dynasty Rabbi Yisrael of Ruzhin. In 1894 he was appointed to succeed his father as rebbe of Husiatyn and the thousands of disciples who had followed his father now accepted his authority. Toward the end of his life he immigrated to Israel and settled in Tel Aviv, where he established his court.
