Perfume container, stamped silver – Egypt, 19th century.
Container for applying perfume, in the shape of a pear, with relief work of flowers. Stands on a short leg in the shape of five petals. The lid of the vessel, which contains the hose, is screwed onto the top of the vessel, and from it leave three large leaves that cover the vessel (upon which are doves). At the top of the hose is an additional dove. Height: 18cm. Diameter: 7cm. Total weight: 168g. Generally very good condition.
